La Dra. Martinez Alanís recibió el título en Ingeniería Biomédica por la Universidad Iberoamericana, posteriormente estudió la Maestría en Ciencias, Ingeniería Biomédica en la Universidad de Oxford (Reino Unido).
De igual manera posee un Doctorado en Ciencias de la Salud el cual realizó en la Universidad Anáhuac México Norte.
